CMSA, Rio Grande Chapter Officers
President : Patricia Heinzman, BSN, RN-BC, CCM - Patricia Heinzman has been a member of CMSA for over fourteen years in the Albuquerque and Kansas City Chapters and has held a variety of positions. She is currently employed as the Diabetes Coordinator with Quality and Population Management in Health Services at Presbyterian Health Plan. Patricia graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and celebrated 30 years in nursing in June of 2009. Her clinical experience includes emergency department nursing, critical care, orthopaedics, practice management, research, nursing management, case management, disease management and project management.
Past President : Linda Lunn - Linda has been utilizing her nursing education since 1967. For the last 5 years she has been the Nurse Liaison for Heritage Home Healthcare & Hospice in Albuquerque. In December of 2010 Linda became the Nursing Services Manager for the Private Services Division of Heritage, monitoring the caregivers serving veterans and developmentally disabled children. In 2010 Linda served as President of the NM Rio Grande Chapter of CMSA, in 2009 as President-Elect and 2008 as Vice-President. Since 2007 she served as Program Committee Chairman, guiding the selection of annual conference speakers and the monthly chapter meeting speakers. Linda has full respect for the stress and demands placed on case managers to utilize all resources and maintain the health, safety, and quality of life of the patient. Linda continues her work with CMSA to promote the knowledge and professionalism of all case managers and associates
Secretary : Monica Vickery, BSN, RNC-MNN, RN-BC, CCM - Monica Vickery has her nursing experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal Newborn Nursing, High-Risk Obstetrics, Ambulatory Care, Maternal Newborn and Oncology Case Management Nursing. Monica has been working as an inpatient case manager for the past 5 years at the University of New Mexico with multiple specialty units including OB and Oncology. She has been a member of CMSA since early 2006 when she entered the Care Management Department. Her certifications include: an ADN, a BSN; Certificate from NCC in Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties, Certificate from CCMC as a Certified Case Manager and a Certificarte from ANCC in Nursing case Management.

Treasurer Elect : Cindy Gauthier - Cindy Gauthier has been in the healthcare field for over 20 years. Her experience encompasses 10+ years in long term care as both a Business Office Manager and Director of Marketing and Admissions; 5 years in Assisted Living Management; 5 years in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) as a Clinical Liaison/Admission Coordinator, her current position is as a Community Liaison with Specialty Hospital. Cindy believes in networking, helping with community education and hopes to make a difference to those she comes in contact with.

Beth Martin, RN, CCM - Beth has been a nurse for the past 31 years. She worked maternal infant for 6 years at a private hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, leaving to work in the home health field where she then started marketing infusion therapy. In 1987 she went to work for a managed care company doing utilization review and case management. She moved to NM in 1999 and has worked for Cimarron, Molina and Presbyterian Hospital. Presently she works for BCBS doing case management for the federal employee program. She has been a member of CMSA for the past 7 years and has been active on several seminar committees. Beth has been a Board member for 3 years.
Oguljan “OJ” Young, BA, MPA - Oguljan has been a member of CMSA for 2 years. She has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 7 years. She currently works for Heritage Home Healthcare & Hospice in Albuquerque. She has been a board member at different organizations and knows what it takes to be dedicated to a cause. She enjoys networking and meeting new people in the healthcare industry. Oguljan has learned a lot by being a member of CMSA for the past 2 years and wants to contribute to the success of this organization in the future.
Joanne Teigeler, RN - Joanne is currently a RN Case Manager for the PMG Outpatient Clinic with the Presbyterian Integrated Care Solutions. She has been a RN since 1972. She has worked in Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, Pediatrics Oncology, Outpatient Clinics, Utilization Review, Case Management. In addition to her current case management position, Joanne’s most rewarding experience was as a Pediatric Oncology Nurse, working with the patients, families and her nursing and health team colleagues building a supportive environment using the whole person concept with her patients, their families, and the health team caring for the Pediatric Oncology patients.
